  We found the accommodations at Puua Poa #305 to be more than excellent. The kitchen was nicely stocked with cooking equipment, the beds were comfy and the view was breathtaking. We found the location quiet from traffic. A reccommended stay!

  A great condo complex. Location was perfect.Our condo was just right for the three of us. It was clean, well equipped and niceley furnished. Beds were very comfortable. I like that the comforter was a thin white "blanket" that seems to be washed between quests.
  Everthing was in good condtion and we LOVED it!!!
  We would come back to this condo again and again.

  The area was paradise. We had a terrific stay. Enjoyed the beach, hiking, and restaurants. The condo was perfect - top of the line with a terrific view of the ocean and "Bali Hai". We had breakfast every morning on the lanai.We even bought fruit and vegetables from the famers market and fish in Hanalei and even ate in one night. We certainly would return and would love to stay there again.

  My husband and I took a belated honeymoon to Kauai and we couldn't have been happier with our accomodations at Puu Poa. The condo was lovely, private, and overall just a perfect get-a-way. Besides a great place to stay it also had snorkeling equipement for us to use, a cooler, towels, and boogey boards too. The condo didn't have air conditioning, but with the ocean breeze it wasn't missed at all. We would highly recommend our experience to anyone. And if we ever get the luxury of going back again soon, we would certainly see if it was available again.

  Loved this property and unit #305! The view was awesome and the interior was very nice. Great balcony with a gas grill and nice furniture. Inside the bedding was comfortable, kitchen upgraded and useful, had a washer and dryer (very nice) and a big soaking tub. It was May, so it was still cool but August may be a different story as there was no air conditioning. It was incredible to sleep with the sliding doors open and hears the ocean. Location was fantastic...must go to Queen's Bath right in Princeville. Awesome. Hideaway Beach was nice, but small. Easy to get to though. And bring a pair of lightweight hiking shoes you can hike and swim in, and throw away when you leave. The orange dirt will ruin anything and you'll break your neck in flip flops on the mountain climbs (required almost everywhere to get to a beach). Looking forward to going again and staying at Pu'u Poa! Maholla back!

  Great views of Bali Hi and mountains plus the awsome shore below. Surfers are always out there in the mornings. Inside the place is really beautiful. The snorkle gear and chairs can in very handy. A few bugs here and there but it's Kuaui and tropical so they come with the territory. Tradewinds kept the place somewhat cool but at times it was warm. That could be due to the 'drought' that is supposedly apart of this Oct. Property managers were excellent. Even came out to help me in (it was my own fault, front door was smarter than I).
  Defenitely recommend this unit and REMAX for all their help.

  We will return to Pu'u Poa 305 without a doubt. The unit is perfectly situated with views at every angle. The trade winds kept the unit perfectly comfortable and the amenities were abundant. The would not be a better choice when staying in the Princeville area !

• I enjoyed the unit and location. I like the upgrades. Although I love Hawaii, I do not like all the units with the usually uncomfortable wicker and rattan furniture. Most are poorly decorated units. This unit was "my style" and I appreciate that.

  Fifteen years ago, I visited Kauai, and found it breathtaking. It was the most fantastic holiday I've ever had. I loved it so much, I decided when I got married I would have my honeymoon here. So I did! My wife Julie, was as she says "over the moon".... we both didn't want to leave. We highly recommend everyone to come at least once to a true paradise!

  Great location, wonderful views, comfortable accommodations. The condo was fully equipped with everything you could need. The bedroom's screen door was falling off the track, but didn't cause much of a problem. The only problem was I had emailed Remax requesting the WIFI code and never received a response. I have a Verizon wireless internet card that worked in the condo, however. So I was still able to use my laptop. Seems that the WIFI has been an issue with other travelers as well.

  fabulous and fantastic were the two words that we would use. The property was clean but on arrival no beds made and only one set of sheets were provided for two double beds cushions thrown on the floor so we thought we had arrived in in the middle of cleaning but no one returned, Next day we went to remax office and within one hour all was rectified and fresh linen supplied. The condo was amazing and had everything we needed from snorkelling gear to ice box was provided. The view from our balcony was something we will never forget. All amenities were close by and everyone was so friendly and helpful. A thought for euopean visitors would be to leave instructions for washing machine, cooker etc. All in all we had one of the best holidays ever and were lucky and privilaged to have stayed in Puu Poa305. Would love to go back. Would need to review the cleaning agency as it seemed like laziness on their part and it could do damage to the letting of this condo.

  This was our 5th trip to Princeville and second stay at Puu Poa. Great place and great location. The golf course is not very crowded and we took advatage of the spa at the hotel.

  We just returned from a three week family vacation to Hawaii in celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary, wrapping up week long stays on Kauai, Maui and Oahu. We have been very fortunate to have traveled the world, but Kauai has always held a very special
  place in our hearts as Lumahai Beach is where I proposed to my wife on our very first visit there back in 1984. Three children and 11 trips later (our 9th staying in a Princeville property), the Holleran's Puo Poa vacation condo has been the best accommodations
  to date, by far. The property truly exceeded our expectations...very well kept, beautifully decorated (especially the artwork!), equipped with high end furnishings throughout, and very open and airy with magnificent views. Whether on a trip to the other side
  of the island, or just a nearby visit to Hanalei Beach, it was always reassuring to know in the back or our minds that at the end of the day we would be returning to our truly luxurious Puo Poa accommodations. Kauai was our first stop, followed by oceanfront
  property stays on Maui then Oahu...but our three kids (14, 18 & 21) all kept mentioning the whole time how much more they had enjoyed our stay on Kauai, which I'm certain was due in very large part to our wonderful accommodations. We have found our ideal Kauai
  vacation rental, and look forward to staying here again on all subsequent visits. Thanks to the owners for sharing their slice of heaven with us!

  Unit inside well maintained and every extra item including snorkle gear available.Only small issue was the sliding screens on the large patio doors were off the tracks and were difficult to close-kind of tacky.Might hesitate renting in warm season since cross ventilation[no ac]was poor....back bedroom window would not open.Box fans were in each room...probably why.

  We were very happy with the property. The views are very nice, but the best part is that you can actually hear the ocean even with the windows closed. It's really relaxing to sleep with that sound in the background!
  
  We were a little bit bummed out that we didn't have internet the whole week and weren't able to get help from the property managers on that. I think it was a fluke problem, because there was a password on the internet that they didn't know about. But we did wish it had been fixed early in the week when we informed them about it.

  Everything about our stay was wonderful. Only disappointment was that upon arrival the unit was found not cleaned. Apparently, the maid was not informed of our stay. Only person we could ever reach was the Emergency After Hours person. Agent that booked, never called back. So, we weren't happy starting our Honeymoon off on the wrong foot. Maid (Randi) very nice, arrived apologizing for the confusion. Was not her fault though. But, it inconvenienced us in a way we could not freshen up prior to us going out for the evenings celebration.
  
  Should anyone wish to have a quiet location ~ very secluded, ideal for couples and Honeymooners for sure ;-) Usually, we had the pool to ourselves. And, the Lanai becomes your family room, dining room ~ views are amazing.
  
  Also, the hidden beach down below is amazing. Very secluded unless the surf is up. Otherwise, all the local surfers will be there ;-) It's a joy to watch them though ;-)

  What a spectacular location! Just a short walk from the St. Regis and with access to a public beach, you can't beat the location of the Puu Poa! The condo itself was great - spacious, clean and very well outfitted. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen
  was very well equipped. There are a number of great beach amenities including beach chairs, snorkel gear, and boogie boards. Do yourself a favour and spend a few nights here, you won't be disappointed.

The views from the lanai were fabulous, entertaining and ever changing. The unit was nicely decorated, comfortable, tidy and well equipped right down to the espresso maker and beach equipment!   The outdoor furniture was falling apart, though the owners came during our stay to fix this. The seal on one of the toilets was broken, so the bathroom smelled for several days of our stay. This was not fixed promptly enough, and no compensation was offered.

  Reasonably priced but the property is getting a touch old and it is a fair bit smaller than the photos tend to indicate. If you want to avoid the high-priced resorts, then this is OK.
